Required Documents Guide

Accurate documentation is the single most important factor determining visa success. Review the standard evidentiary requirements.

Biometric Passport: Valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond intended stay period, with at least 2 consecutive blank pages.
Color Bio-Data Page Scan: Crisp, non-glare, high-resolution color scan showing MRZ lines, signature, and expiration details.
Previous Passports / Visas: Scans of all entry/exit stamps and previous visa approvals (especially USA, UK, Schengen, Canada, Australia).
National Identity Card: Government-issued citizenship ID or driving license with certified translation if non-English/non-Italian.

Bank Statements (Past 3 - 6 Months): Official bank-stamped account statements demonstrating consistent balances and regular deposits.
Tax Returns: Personal income tax returns or assessment notices for the preceding 2 fiscal years.
Employment & Salary Slips: Last 3 months payslips matching deposits on bank statements.
Sponsorship Undertaking: Formal Affidavit of Support with sponsor's tax returns and bank statements if travel is funded by a third party.

Employment Reference Letter: On official company letterhead detailing position title, joining date, remuneration, and approved leave of absence.
Business Registration: Company incorporation certificate, tax ID, and memorandum if applicant is self-employed or business owner.
Educational Degrees & Transcripts: Certified copies of diplomas, graduation certificates, and language proficiency test scores (IELTS/PTE).
Enrollment Attestation: For students, official enrollment letter from school or university confirming vacation dates or return enrollment.

Travel Itinerary / Flight Reservations: Verifiable round-trip flight booking (do not purchase non-refundable tickets prior to visa grant).
Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel reservations, tourist rental lease, or formal Host Invitation declaration.
Comprehensive Travel Medical Insurance: Mandatory for Schengen/Italy covering €30,000+; OSHC/OVHC insurance required for Australia.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC): National character check certificates for work and long-term residency categories.

Requires Genuine Student (GS) declaration, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and Form 956 authorization where applicable.

Requires Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for study permits, LMIA letter for employer-sponsored work permits, and UCI references.
